Merrillville, IN – Today, Rep. Frank J. Mrvan released the following statement endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris as the 2024 Democratic nominee for President of the United States.

“It is with great respect that I endorse Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee for President of the United States.  We have proven under the Biden-Harris Administration that we are capable of delivering impactful and positive results for communities throughout Northwest Indiana.  Notably, we have supported our region’s economy and steel and manufacturing industries with the strongest Buy America requirements in our nation’s history, as well as investments in the South Shore Rail Line, the Gary/Chicago International Airport, and a Hydrogen Hub in Whiting.  I look forward to continuing to work with Vice President Harris to lower costs, create more good-paying job opportunities, restore reproductive rights for women, support law enforcement agencies, and advance our agenda to create work and wealth throughout Northwest Indiana.”
