Merrillville, IN – Today, Frank Mrvan announced that former Lake County Sheriff Roy Dominguez has endorsed his candidacy to be the Representative for Indiana’s First Congressional District.

Frank Mrvan stated, “I am humbled to receive the endorsement of former Lake County Sheriff Roy Dominguez.  As a two term Lake County Sheriff and leader of our region, Sheriff Dominguez knows what it takes to be a leader and ensure that the residents of our region are safe and secure.  I thank Sheriff Dominguez for his vote of confidence and his years of steadfast dedication to our region and law enforcement community.”

Roy Dominguez stated, “I wholeheartedly endorse Frank Mrvan to be Indiana’s First Congressional District Representative.  Throughout his career in public service, Frank has always put people over politics.  When people visit his trustee’s office, they more often than not have hit a bump in the road economically and are struggling to get back on their feet.  Time and time again, Frank Mrvan has extended every effort to be of service and help one of his 170,000 constituents in North Township.

I would add that Frank has always been focused on getting the job done and not worried about getting the credit.  He listens to people and always works to take care of people, whether it is helping them with their jobs, their healthcare, their benefits, or improving our communities.  As a fellow caretaker and protector of our region, I respect Frank Mrvan and urge all voters to join me in supporting him to be our voice in Congress.”
